The MS in Business Analytics and Data Science (MS BAnDS) is a nationally ranked STEM program that offers students practical data analysis
experience by applying knowledge acquired in classrooms to solving real-world business
problems. We use state-of-the-art enterprise-level analytics software from multiple
vendors. Beyond 23 credit hours of core courses, students have the choice of specializing
in various options such as marketing analytics, healthcare analytics, advanced data
science or cybersecurity analytics.

Our program provides great advantages in the competitive job market where companies

Walmart, WWF and others recruit our students on a regular basis.

Castillo Garza won the 2024 Data 4 Good Case Competition at Purdue University. The
team secured a $5,000 cash prize while analyzing real-world data to create positive
outcomes.
