Housed in the School of Marketing and International Business, the Center for Sales and Service Excellence is committed to discovering the truths that underlie successful customer-employee interactions and training future managers to create satisfied customers and employees.
The center exists with three primary objectives:
- Provide specialized education for students pursuing careers in retailing, personal selling or services marketing,
- Enable industry partners to provide input into training processes and connect them with the best recruits,
- Serve as a contact point for scholars who study issues relevant to customer-employee interaction.
The Certificate in Sales and Service Excellence offered through the Center provides an opportunity to build a strong foundation for the lifelong development of an outstanding service/sales mentality. As a result, you will be perfectly positioned to walk into a great job after you complete the degree and certificate.
