We are excited to announce that our MS Information Assurance is now an option under the MS Management Information Systems to better meet industry needs and give students flexibility in shaping their MIS degree.  The MS MIS with an option in Information Assurance Security will include a foundational MIS core and electives focused on information security and assurance.  For students already pursuing the MS Telecommunications Management or the MS Information Assurance you will complete the degree you are already admitted into.  If you are a new applicant you will complete your application for the MS Management Information Systems at this point (not MS Info Assurance).  If you have questions please feel free to contact us at spearsmasters@okstate.edu or (405) 744-2951.

MSIA core classes engage the student in the study of information assurance, both from a hands-on technical approach and from a business-oriented managerial perspective. The MSIA program is a minimum 32-33 credit hour program includes 30 hours of core of courses and 2-3 credits of electives in approved courses (this may include an approved internship or practicum).
