    MBA students interested in pursuing an accounting concentration will need to meet our program requirements of having completed the following courses or course equivalents with the appropriate ACCT upper division GPA.

  • Energy Business (Online, Stillwater)

    This concentration is designed to help prepare full-time students or working professionals for successful careers in the energy industry. This concentration offers an in-depth look at finance, strategy, economics, risk management, and contemporary issues specific to the energy industry. Students will develop business acumen to prepare for the complexities of energy business and decision making.

  • Entrepreneurship (Online, Stillwater, Tulsa)

    Whether you are starting a company, an executive in an existing firm or managing a small or family business, entrepreneurial skills are critical to identifying and evaluating the factors that will make your undertaking a success. The curriculum integrates all business areas including marketing, finance, business analytics, accounting and entrepreneurship to produce students who have well-round business skills coupled with entrepreneurship-related training and preparation. Requirements include 33 credit hours for Tulsa and online students, 36 credit hours for Stillwater full-time students.

  • Finance and Investment Banking (Stillwater, Tulsa)

    This concentration prepares students for a multitude of high-profile careers in finance and investment banking including but not limited to advisory, equity and fixed income capital markets, risk management, private equity, corporate finance, and careers in financial institutions. This concentration is ideal for professionals with a bachelor’s degree in any area who want to move into the cutting edge areas of finance and investment banking. Students can expect to gain an in-depth understanding of finance and investment banking and to develop specific competencies, including critical thought and analysis, and problem solving, in these areas.

    The global marketing concentration gives students a solid grounding in marketing tools and techniques used to approach markets around the world including cross-cultural issues, marketing strategies, and awareness of how globalization is affecting business.

    This concentration is designed for MBA students who want to advance their knowledge and skills in Hospitality and Tourism Management. The structure of the curriculum is designed to provide a solid grounding in hospitality and tourism tools and techniques based on students’ individual interests.   • Marketing Analytics (Online, Stillwater)

    This concentration is designed for MBA students who want to enhance their marketing analytic skills. The structure of the curriculum is designed to balance the need for understanding applications of quantitative and statistical modeling along with data visualization, data exploration and interpretation. Hands-on courses build actual experience in using data to make better marketing decisions and will give students the opportunity to develop relevant skills in marketing analytics. In addition to the MBA core required classes, students must complete 12 credit hours to receive a concentration in Marketing Analytics.
