About CAGLE
The global hub
of Spears Business
The CAGLE coordinates and supports all global activities within Spears Business. The
CAGLE engages with students, faculty, global alumni, global academic partners, industry
leaders, and government officials. The center organizes programs and on-campus events
for students and faculty, hosts global faculty and guests, connects with global alumni,
and organizes more than 18 short-term study abroad programs per year, allowing more
than 400 students to experience the world.
By providing these opportunities, the CAGLE prepares Spears Business students for
leadership positions in a dynamic global business environment.
All short-term, faculty-led global travel courses are taught and led by Spears Business
faculty and directly apply to Business degree programs and majors. Students from other
colleges at Oklahoma State University and from other institutions have participated
and are welcome to enroll in our programs.
The Cagles
In 2014, Roger and Cindy Cagle donated funds to the Spears School of Business to establish
the Center for Advanced Global Leadership and Engagement (CAGLE) at Oklahoma State
University. They hoped to contribute to the global competence of students and help
them broaden their horizons.
The Cagles also founded the Roger and Cindy Cagle International Scholarship to be used for students participating in short-term study abroad travel programs offered through the center.
