Entrepreneurship - Graduate
The School of Entrepreneurship at OSU offers graduate training in entrepreneurship at both the Master's and PhD levels.
At the master's level, OSU offers a Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship. It is a 12-credit hour program that can be completed in one year and provides students with advanced skills and training in entrepreneurship. The program is ideal for individuals who want to enhance their competitiveness in an existing career, start a business, or assume a leadership role in a small or family business. Students from outside the Spears School of Business can also benefit from the Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship.
The PhD in Entrepreneurship exists to train the next generation of scholars who will lead this rapidly growing discipline. The degree program generally takes four years and involves advanced coursework, conducting original research and writing and defending a dissertation. Additionally, students will network and collaborate with entrepreneurship scholars across the world and teach in the School of Entrepreneurship academic program. Following graduation, our PhD students have an excellent track record of obtaining faculty positions at research-focused colleges and universities.
