Undergraduate Case Competition
Think smart, win big
Welcome to the second annual Spears Business Undergraduate Case Competition where students have the opportunity to win up to $6,000 in scholarships. Work with peers to tackle a real world problem facing Stinnett & Associates leadership, while building your analytical, critical thinking and communication skills. Gain an insight into the emerging employment trends and have an opportunity to win scholarship prizes. In partnership with Stinnett & Associates and the Spears Alumni Society.
Timeline
- March 25, 2022 | Registration due by 5:00 p.m.
- March 25, 2022 | Case delivered to students by 5:30 p.m.
- April 4, 2022 | Submissions due here by 5:00 p.m.
- April 8, 2022 | Finalists are notified
- April 15, 2022 | Presentations and Judging
Case Analysis
Your team will prepare its Stinnett & Associates case recommendation as a:
- Video presentation - no more than 10 minutes and recorded through Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar program. The presentation should include the highlights and justifications of your decisions. All members of the team should contribute during the presentation.
- AND Executive Summary - no more than 2 single-spaced written pages plus any additional tables or figures. This document should illustrate the important aspects of your proposal.
Scholarships for winning teams
- First place: $3,000
- Second place: $2,000
- Third place : $1,000
- Other finalists: $500
Rules

The competition is open to undergraduate students who are Spears Business majors.

Each team must consist of 4 Spears students and represent at least two Spears majors.

The case will be available March 24 and due March 30. Teams have 6 days to work on the case.
Finalists must be available on April 15 for presentation with alumni judging panel to qualify for team scholarships.
