FAQ

Frequently asked questions for the PMBA & OMBA 2022 Conference hosted by Spears Business at Oklahoma State University

  • Where is the conference and where should I stay?

The primary conference location is at OSU-Tulsa in Downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma. The entire conference is walkable for the hotels, off-campus venues and OSU-Tulsa. On Tuesday, around 11 a.m., we will take a bus trip to our main campus in Stillwater for lunch at our Hospitality and Tourism School (within the Spears School of Business), afternoon sessions and our OMBA Gala event. You don’t want to miss the authentic Oklahoma State event Cowboy Corral at our Boone Pickens stadium.

  • Who should attend?

The conference is designed for those at the Director or Associate Dean level and above. For space limitation reasons we are limiting the conferences to 2 individuals per school until all schools have a chance to register. Then we will take more registrants from our waitlist.

  • When should I arrive and depart?

We hope you will come Sunday and stay for the entire P/OMBA conference through Wednesday around noon as there will be relevant sessions and speakers that cross over both conferences. Based on our locations and schedule we are hosting not one but TWO evening gala type events along with our Sunday evening welcome reception. Monday evening we will have a tour of Black Wall Street and dinner at the Greenwood Cultural Center with a jazz band. Tuesday evening we will host our Cowboy Corral BBQ at Boone Pickens Stadium with our own Pistol Pete, country band, dancing and even a mechanical bull. There will be swag handed out exclusively at this event. You don’t want to miss the event OR the swag!

  • Where should I fly in to?

TUL. The Tulsa International Airport is only 10 minutes from OSU-Tulsa and all of the conference hotels in the downtown Blue Dome District.

  • What are some other things to do in downtown Tulsa?

With museums, shops, restaurants, bars and live entertainment in downtown Tulsa, you're sure to find something worthwhile. See more here.
