Alicia Smales
Former Snap-on VP, CMO and Director of the Eastin Center for Career Readiness
Alicia Smales spent thirty years as a corporate executive and worked in both B2B and B2C spaces with well-known brands such as Wilson Sporting Goods, Brunswick, The Coleman Company and Snap-on Incorporated. In 2016, she retired from Snap-on Incorporated as Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer and transitioned to academia, serving as the Director of the Eastin Center for Career Readiness and lecturer, having taught marketing strategy, marketing research, and non-profit marketing. Alicia graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1981 with a BS in Business Administration while playing on the women’s golf team, an MBA from Dominican University in 1990 and a Ph.D. in Business Administration in 2019. She currently resides in Golden, Colorado to be close to her three grandchildren. She also teaches part time at Purdue University Global, enjoys playing golf and has a new love of hiking.
