Spears School of Business

The OSU Spears School of Business will host a virtual Professional Development Workshop series on April 20, April 28 and May 4 from noon-1 p.m. This new series is for people that have lost their job and are looking for work or who are interested in being promoted within their organization.

 

“Professional development and career readiness are areas that we should be focusing on throughout our career, not just during college,” said Abbey Davis, director of the  Eastin Center for Career Readiness and adjunct instructor within Spears Business. “We wanted to offer this series to the general public as a way to help those who want to refresh their résumé, personal brand and networking skills. Proceeds from this series will be used to benefit our Spears Business students with their career readiness as well."

 

The Professional Development Workshop webinar series addresses these topics:

• Developing Your Résumé with Kellie Ebert, manager of the Eastin Center for Career Readiness, Spears School of Business;
• Refreshing Your Brand with Abbey Davis, director of the Eastin Center for Career Readiness and adjunct instructor for Spears Business;
• Expanding Your Professional Network with Abbey Davis.

Each session is $50. All three sessions are $125 total (discounted for enrollments in the series).
