Startup Frenzy is a three-day, immersive experience for OSU students interested in
the venture creation process. In just three days, students will pitch ideas, form
teams, be guided by skilled mentors and experience how to start a company from the
ground up! Whether you have an idea of your own or are just interested in the startup
process, this event is for you!
*Registration fee covers all materials, 6 meals and snacks.

5:30 p.m. Participant Check In
6 p.m. Dinner & Networking 6:30 p.m. Opening Session: Review of agenda for the weekend and introduce speakers and coaches. 7:30 p.m. Preliminary Pitch: Got an idea? You’ve got one minute to pitch in front of the group! 8 p.m. Idea Voting: Attendees vote for the top pitches.
8:15 p.m. Team Formation: Teams will form around the top projects, as voted. 9 p.m. Begin Work: Based on resources and skills, divide out the workload! 11 p.m. Wrap Up: Departure from Spears School of Business - Saturday, Sept. 23

8 a.m. Breakfast & Final Team Work 10:30 a.m. Presentation Practice: Teams have the opportunity to practice their presentations in front of a room of guest mentors for final feedback. 12 p.m. Lunch 1 p.m. Tech Check: Teams begin their run-through of presentations to test AV needs. 2 p.m. Final Presentations: Pitches are limited to 5 minutes & judges will be allowed 3 minutes of questions. 4 p.m. Judging & Awards 5 p.m. Wrap Up: Departure from Spears School of Business - Registration Fee and Refund ConditionsPlease note, all participants are required to pay a $15 registration fee which will be charged to their bursar accounts within 3-5 days of completing the registration process. No other forms of payment will be accepted.
Refunds will only be allowed up to Sept. 17, 2023 and can take 3-5 business days to complete. All cancellations after the Sept. 17 refund deadline or no-shows for the Startup Frenzy event hosted from Sept. 22-Sept. 24, 2023, will automatically forfeit their registration fee.
