Rally Point is a three-week social entrepreneurship program designed for OSU students who want to strengthen or launch a nonprofit and mission-driven venture.
Through workshops, mentorship, and peer collaboration, participants learn how to plan, fund, and sustain initiatives that create meaningful community impact.
Learning Objectives
Further cultivate an existing idea through structured feedback and guided mentorship.
Make minor or major modifications to existing plans to increase clarity, efficiency, and impact.
Merge multiple ideas or frameworks into cohesive, scalable models.
Determine readiness for launch or strategically pause concepts for later development
Confidently communicate your mission and value through data-driven narratives and public pitches.
Program structure Rally Point runs for three weeks, meeting twice a week for two hours each session. Each week focuses on key areas to help students build, strengthen, and sustain their nonprofit ventures.
Week one
Non-profit leadership & business planning
Explore the foundations of nonprofit leadership and organizational structure
Define your mission, vision, and goals
Develop a clear business plan for your nonprofit or social enterprise
Week two
Program budgeting, evaluation & donor communication
Create and manage realistic program budgets
Learn how to evaluate and measure your impact
Build strong donor relationships and craft a compelling case for support
Week three
Board & volunteer management, fundraising & pitch prep
Recruit and manage an effective board of directors and volunteer team
Design sustainable fundraising strategies
Refine your story and prepare a pitch that showcases your mission and impact
