Engaged alumni mean a stronger Spears Business
An involved, active network of Spears Business alumni and friends benefits our students through mentoring relationships and enhanced educational opportunities both on and off campus. Through the contributions of time, expertise and financial resources, OSU business graduates and supporters make many of the academic programs at Spears Business possible, while the business insights and connections that they share give our students a competitive advantage when they enter the job market.

Dean's Council

Membership provides the opportunity to interact with the dean, faculty and students; provide guidance regarding Spears Business’ creation of workforce ready student graduates; share issues to improve the timeliness of education for the business professions, and participate on one of the priority project committees set by the dean.

One of the most rewarding ways for alumni and friends of the school to get involved is through serving on one of the various advisory boards. Individuals whose stature and accomplishments in the business world bring credibility to Spears Business and the program they are representing.

Giving back

Financially supporting OSU business education
Supporting Spears Business with financial gifts through the OSU Foundation opens doors to students and enriches our educational programs. The Dean’s Excellence Fund maintains the school’s competitiveness while dozens of endowed academic professorships and chairs attract and keep the nation’s brightest business scholars teaching at OSU. And supporting scholarships often makes it possible for many students to attend Spears who otherwise couldn’t afford to.
