Elevator Pitch Competition
DetailsThe Elevator Pitch Competition segment will take place toward the beginning of the awards ceremony on January 24, 2025.
- Only the finalist from the live presentations has eligibility to participate. Guests in the attendance will determine the winner.
- Pitches may not exceed 90 seconds. Pitches will be hard stopped at 90 seconds. Time begins when the presenter begins speaking.
- No visual aids, index cards, slides or props of any kind including wearables and logos, may be used during the pitch.
- A question-and-answer period will not follow the pitches.
- Presenters must be physically present and give the elevator pitch live and in person. The winner(s) must also be present to claim their award.
- Presenters will present in a random order.
- There are no specific requirements for the presenters of the elevator pitches. Presenters should consider the overall presentation including content, delivery and audience impact.
- Presenters are encouraged to present a compelling pitch that clearly presents the problem they are solving and their competitive advantage.
- There will be no guarantee of confidentiality. Presenters are encouraged to avoid speaking about topics or items that should remain confidential.
- In the case of a tie, a second vote will take place including only the tied teams.
