Where business and science meet

The MSIS Department is blessed with accomplished, internationally known scholars, including two OSU Regents Professors: Dursun Delen and Ramesh Sharda. The faculty publish their impactful research in the top academic journals in the field, primarily in data science/analytics, security and information assurance and applied information systems. Specialty areas worth noting include healthcare analytics, sports analytics, data privacy protection and organizational impacts of security policy, among others.
