Economics - Graduate
Department of Economics graduate programs offer rigorous training and opportunities for mentorship by world-renowned scholars. The master’s degree serves the dual purpose of preparing students for doctoral study and for employment in business and government. Graduates from OSU have gone to work for public utilities, state and federal government agencies, private industry and financial institutions.
The doctoral program prepares individuals for academic careers and research and administrative positions in business and government. Recent Ph.D. graduates have accepted leadership positions with the Federal Reserve Bank, Korea Energy Economics Institute and a variety of higher education institutions.
