Join CAGLE for spring break in Germany! Come discover Munich, the capital of Bavaria, which is home to Marienplatz Square, Olympiapark, outdoor markets, a diverse commerce culture and of course, the world’s largest Oktoberfest. On this program, you will visit local businesses, including an accounting firm, to discuss what it is like to do business in Germany. Experience the historical sights of Germany with day trips to nearby Dachau concentration camp and to Neuschwanstein Castle. You will also travel across the border to picturesque Salzburg, Austria. In Salzburg you will ride the funicular up to the Hohensalzburg fortress for a view of the city and visit one of the local salt mines which gives Salzburg its name! Come experience Germany and Austria’s castles, landscapes, food and so much more!
*Spears Business will be following and enforcing COVID vaccination and/or testing requirements based on the regulations of the destination of travel including partners providing the services.

  • ​​​​​​​If you plan to use this course to sit for the CPA exam, please note that most boards of accountancy won't accept travel courses for upper-division accounting credit.  However, travel courses can count toward your total hours.

    • Estimated roundtrip airfare from/to Oklahoma is $1,400

    • It is your responsibility to purchase your own ticket

    • CAGLE could assist in organizing your air travel 

    • All accepted students will receive the faculty and/or staff’s flight information as soon as the faculty’s flight is booked

    • It is suggested that you DO NOT book your flight until you receive this information so you are able to arrive with or around the same time as the faculty and staff for transportation reasons

    • For this program, you should fly into and out of Munich International Airport Munich (MUC)

    Earlier arrival or later departure:

    • If you choose to arrive before the program start date or leave after the program end date you will be on your own for transportation to and from the airport as well as for additional accommodation arrangement and costs

    • Installment will be charged to your bursar account as shown in the Payment Schedule

  • COVID-19 related information
    • The COVID Vaccination is highly encouraged when traveling with CAGLE, and may be required depending on the regulations of the destination of the program.

    • All costs associated with COVID testing, quarantine requirements, or trip cancellations due to lack of having the vaccine or testing positive for COVID will fall on the student. We highly encourage all students traveling with CAGLE to purchase additional insurance that will cover these situations.

    • Please note that with ongoing COVID-related circumstances in multiple countries, The CAGLE reserves the right to amend the program itinerary and details as needed.


*We strongly encourage purchasing Cancel For Any Reason Insurance to cover any cancellation installments and flights you might incur in the event you are unable to travel. See CAGLE staff for further details.

*A $50 NON-REFUNDABLE Application fee will be charged to your bursar once the application has been submitted.

*Installment amounts are charged on the dates listed in the payment schedule and are included in the total price of the trip, however, if you choose to not attend the trip for any reason the installments WILL NOT BE REFUNDED if the dates have passed.

Airfare to and from the program site is not covered in the payment installments; it is the students’ responsibility to purchase their own tickets.


*NOTE: If the installment charge dates above have passed when applying and submitting the application, all charges (Application fee, 1st Installment, 2nd Installment, and Final Installment) will be applied to your bursar and will be NON-REFUNDABLE.*If you withdraw through the CAGLE (101 Business Building or after the installment charge date(s), listed above, these WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
