The MBA program had major involvement the weekend of OSU’s 100th homecoming – starting with the homecoming parade on Saturday morning. Traditionally, the program teams up with Coaches vs. Cancer to walk together in the parade. Due to COVID-19, this is the first time getting to do it since 2019. The MBA students walked hand-in-hand with the children who have beat or are currently battling cancer accompanied by the families. This also includes the “slow poke” bus that gets decorated by the children over donuts the morning of the parade.

Following the parade, the MBA program hosted its 60th anniversary tailgate with students, faculty and alumni. There was cake, MBA merchandise and a word from Spears Business Dean Dr. Ken Eastman and MBA Director Dr. Matt Bowler.

“Scholarship, instruction and service is our motto, and you can add fellowship to that list. “I’ve never been prouder to be a Cowboy. It was an experience of a lifetime,” Justin Williams, MBA student.

Overall, the weekend was a great success and the MBA program is so thankful to all who participated.
