Taylor's Restaurant honored as Restaurant of the Month
Monday, October 18, 2021
Taylor’s Restaurant was named Restaurant of the Month for October by the Made in Oklahoma Coalition. Taylor’s is a teaching restaurant located on campus at the Nancy Randolph Davis building and open Tuesday-Friday 11 a.m.– 1 p.m. While the restaurant provides a unique dining experience for guests to try cuisines from around the world, it also allows students to have a hands-on learning experience, which will better equip them to become global hospitality leaders.
“The MIO Coalition has been leading the eat local/buy local movement in Oklahoma for 20 years,” said Brij Thapa, head of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Oklahoma State University. “They have been promoting local before local was cool. We are honored to be recognized by the organization that is leading the charge in highlighting all of the amazing local products, local food companies and local restaurants in the state. We are proud to be listed among the other wonderful local restaurants in Oklahoma, all of which make dining in our state unique and memorable. We are also proud to be educating future leaders in hospitality, who will continue to make Oklahoma recognized as a place that cares about its roots and connections to our communities and the great food Oklahoma is famous for.”
