Dr. Kevin So, associate professor in the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Spears Business, was named on the 2021 Highly Cited Researchers list from Clarivate, a data and analytics company. He is one of only 263 researchers in the world in the social sciences discipline to be included on this elite list and one of only four Oklahoma State University professors, more about So and the other OSU professors recognized can be found here.

 

“Dr. So is one of the most prolific researchers in our discipline and this achievement is a testament of his research engagement,” said Brij Thapa, head of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at OSU. “He is a highly sought-after speaker, collaborator and mentor, and as a program we are very proud for his recognition. We appreciate his regular contribution to the scholarly field and his part in enhancing our reputation nationally and globally.”

 

The 2021 Highly Cited Researchers list identifies researchers who produced multiple papers ranking in the top one percent by citations for their chosen field or fields published between January 2010 to December 2020, demonstrating significant influence among their peers. This top one percent of the global research community represents magnets in their respective discipline with 6,600 researchers, representing 1,300+ institutions in 70+ countries.
