School of Accounting to host annual accounting conferences

The School of Accounting at Oklahoma State University will be hosting the 21st Annual Accounting and Financial Reporting Conference and 17th Annual Oil and Gas Accounting Conference on Nov. 18-19 at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center and virtually live-streamed.

 

These conferences are designed for accounting and financial reporting professionals. Participants will earn eight hours of CPE credits including two hours of ethics by attending the Accounting and Financial Reporting Conference and four hours of CPE credits by attending the Oil and Gas Accounting Conference.

 

“The School of Accounting is excited to offer the annual accounting conferences in virtual and face-to-face formats this November,” said Audrey Gramling, head of the School of Accounting and Wilton T. Anderson Endowed Chair. “These conferences provide participants a great opportunity to learn from nationally recognized experts in the field. In addition, it directly benefits the students, faculty and initiatives of the School of Accounting and the Spears School of Business.”

 

The 21st Annual Accounting and Financial Reporting Conference will be held Nov. 18 from 8:00 a.m.–4:45 p.m. The topics and speakers are:

  • Update on SEC, Paul Munter, Acting Chief Accountant, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission
