Ten Toes LLC started as a class project during Destin Woodard’s sophomore/junior year at OSU, he was working on several other businesses, but Ten Toes seemed to be the most attainable at his age. He transferred to OSU-Tulsa and opened Ten Toes that same year downtown. He then moved to a mall in Tulsa, then opened another location in Memphis, Tennessee, at a similar mall, and recently he opened his third location in Dallas, Texas. It has been a 7-day-a-week grind for the past 5-6 years, and he has no plans to slow down even with the current economy.

In 2017, founders Kevin Jones and J.W. Peters started Solar Power of Oklahoma (SPO) with the goal of helping Oklahomans cut costs on their monthly electric bills. Jones and Peters started the company installing solar themselves on hot Oklahoma roofs with a crew of five people. Today, they have grown the company to over 65 employees in Oklahoma City and Tulsa and more than 120,000 solar panels installed in Oklahoma.

She embarked on a journey to create products that would meet her needs. Today, the Sweet Turns collection, based in Lexington, KY, includes knit hats, scarves, and gloves for women, men, and kids. Since it opened in 2012, Sweet Turns has doubled its business each year, most recently selling 50,000 pieces to various retailers across the country, including REI and Dillard’s, as well as numerous loyal boutiques.

The family-owned firm's manufacturing plant uses 11 1/2-foot saws that slice 10T granite blocks into slabs which are polished with industrial-grade diamonds and cut into custom memorials. The granite comes from eight states, Canada, and Africa. A variety of colored stones is imported from China and India as well. Their main product is cemetery monuments as well as commemorative and war memorials.
