"Originally from Texas, I spent the first nine years of my career simultaneously pursuing aquatic chemistry and restaurant hospitality. After six years working for the state of Oklahoma as a water quality intern and two years managing a wine and whiskey bar, I left for Italy in 2021 to obtain my Master's degree in Viticulture and Enology. By combining two very diverse career backgrounds, I’m able to work in the wine industry from a multifaceted viewpoint. I’ve worked front-of-house in restaurants, trained bar staff, managed bars, started educational wine courses for the public and written notable OKC wine lists. Conversely, I’ve worked two harvests around the globe and have extensive knowledge of the agriculture and chemistry behind the making of wine."
