Ethical business leadership

and serving the community
The Center for Legal Studies & Business Ethics endeavors to promote and enhance business and professional ethics and regulatory compliance through applied and theoretical research that explores the intersections between law and business.
We envision a world where business may achieve competitive advantage through legal, ethical and regulatory compliance.

Puterbaugh series

Leaders share with students
Hosted annually by the Center for Legal Studies & Business Ethics, the Puterbaugh Ethics Lecture series brings to the Stillwater campus speakers like Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond. The series provides students with the opportunity to meet with leaders who share their stories about ethical challenges they face in their field and in society.

Conversation series

Join the discussion
Each year, the CLSBE invites to campus leaders in law and industry to engage in a conversation with our students about what ethical leadership means to them. This interactive event brings together leaders like former governors Frank Keating and Brad Henry and Spears School Dean James Payne. The series provides opportunities for students to drive the conversation while leaders share their wisdom and experience.
