Ethical business leadership

and serving the community
The Center for Legal Studies & Business Ethics endeavors to promote and enhance business and professional ethics and regulatory compliance through applied and theoretical research that explores the intersections between law and business.
We envision a world where business may achieve competitive advantage through legal, ethical, and regulatory compliance.

Puterbaugh series

Leaders share with students
Hosted annually by the Center for Legal Studies & Business Ethics, the Puterbaugh Ethics Lecture series brings to the Stillwater campus speakers like Vicki Behenna, district attorney for Oklahoma County and the first woman to hold the position. The series provides students with the opportunity to meet with leaders who share their stories about ethical challenges they face in their field and in society.
