The Tribal Finance and Accounting Conference will address essential finance and accounting topics relevant to tribal communities. This virtual conference is ideal for anyone involved in the tribal accounting and finance process.

    Updates and need to know information for ARPA Funds, Opioid Settlement and Single Audit 

    This session will focus on recent updates around the topics of 1) ARPA Funds, 2) Opioid Settlement, and 3) Single Audit. The ARPA conversation will provide information around recent guidance and reporting updates and obligation information. The Opioid Settlement update will provide information around the settlement and allowable uses of settlement funds. Single Audit update will include information around the uniform guidance updates taking place in October, examples of some common areas of concern, and ideas for how to preemptively prepare for uniform guidance updates and your single audit.

    Review the CFW program policies. All programs presented by the Center for the Future of Work are subject to these policies.

     

    The program content is appropriate for entry level employees and those looking to gain an understanding in tribal finance and accounting. For CPE purposes, the knowledge level of the course is "basic". There is no prerequisite education/experience. A pre-test will be shared with program participants by the program administrator after registration and prior to attendance.

     

    The Oklahoma State University Center for the Future of Work is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.
