Goutam Chakraborty
Goutam Chakraborty, Ph.D., is the SAS Professor of Marketing Analytics and Director of M.S. in Business Analytics at the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University. Goutam has presented numerous programs and workshops to executives, educators, and research professionals in the U.S., Europe, Asia, Australia and Middle East. He coauthored two books Text Mining and Analysis: Practical Methods, Examples, and Case Studies Using SAS® and Contemporary Database Marketing: Concepts and Applications. He has chaired several national conferences including the Direct Marketing Educator’s Conference, M2007 Data Mining Conference and SAS Global Forum 2018 Conference. He earned his B. Tech (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, PGCGM from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, M.S. in Statistics and a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Iowa.
Pallabi Deb
Pallabi Deb is a Technical Program Manager at Fred Hutch which is the world’s leading Non-Profit medical research organization pursuing solutions to challenges of HIV/AIDS, Cancer and other diseases for the modern society. She leads the Business Intelligence and Analytics team focused on designing, building, and optimizing advanced BI and analytical solution for the Statistical Center for HIV/AIDS Research and Prevention. She owns the data science portfolio and directly works with renowned staff scientists, NIH fellows, and principal investigators to scope, formulate and plan the delivery of statistical models to fuel the drug research.
Sharat Dwibhasi
Sharat Dwibhasi graduated from Oklahoma State University in May 2016. Since then he has been working with Tredence (Data Science Consulting Start-up Company). As a part of Tredence, he is leading Online Grocery teams of Walmart as an Sr. Associate. He has recently won the Catalyst Award for FY-18 at Tredence for his leadership efforts. As a student, he was part of the Winning team of SAS Symposium and other awards.
Ashley Gockstetter
Ashley Gockstetter joined Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores as the Director of Customer Strategy, Loyalty & Analytics in June 2018. Ashley brings 13+ years’ experience in customer loyalty & analytics from time spent at Nielson BASES, dunnhumby, and most recently Walgreens Boots Alliance. Her focus at Love’s is on ensuring proper integration of data that enables analytics to guide strategic decisions that will impact both Love’s business and the customer experience.
Snigdha Gutha
Snigdha Gutha leads international pricing data science efforts from Bentonville, and coordinates with business teams across international markets and data scientists from GTS India and GTS Mexico teams. The team is responsible for building strategies and providing analytical decision support through scalable machine learning solutions for merchants. Snigdha graduated as Outstanding Student: SAS and OSU Data Mining from Business Analytics program at OSU in Fall 2017. Previously she held internships with Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts and OG+E where she developed Park Attendance Forecasting Models, Market Mix models and Propensity models. She is passionate about problem solving and innovation.
Scott Hale
Scott Hale is an Analytics Manager for EFT Energy Inc. (Koch) Scott leads the design, development, and implementation of the EFT Analytics Platform. The platform enables data-informed decision in the areas of predictive analytics and process optimization.
Anurag Hardikar
Anurag Hardikar is an Analytics Consultant who works with IRI to help their clients in the retail industry solve business problems using data analysis and statistical modeling. He has worked on numerous projects ranging from loyalty and personalization, customer segmentation for marketing and marketing mix modeling. He earned his Master’s degree in Business Analytics from Oklahoma State University.
Sean O'Brien
Sean O’Brien has worked at SAS for the last 21 years - all of it dedicated to helping organizations and universities around the world learn and teach SAS. His experience includes developing and teaching custom courses and modernizing training programs. He led efforts to develop eLearning and deliver SAS training live over the internet. He also started the SAS Data Mining conference, now known as AX. Over the years he has helped hundreds of companies and thousands of people learn SAS.
Ramesh Sharda
Dr. Ramesh Sharda is the Vice Dean for Research and Graduate Programs, Watson/ConocoPhillips Chair and a Regents Professor of Management Science and Information Systems in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University. He has coauthored two textbooks (“Business Intelligence and Analytics: Systems for Decision Support,” Tenth Edition, Prentice Hall and “Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Science: A Managerial Perspective,” Fourth Edition, Pearson). He is a member of the editorial boards of journals such as the Decision Support Systems, Decision Sciences, and Information Systems Frontiers. He is currently serving as the Executive Director of Teradata University Network and received the 2013 INFORMS HG Computing Society Lifetime Service Award. He was inducted into the Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame in 2016.
Neha Singh
Neha Singh works as a senior data scientist for Koch Supply & Trading. She pioneered the data science capability at KS&T. Along with helping business connect with all things data science, she specializes in time series modelling in commodity trading space and also co-authors the in-house blog “Statistically Speaking”. She has a passion for problem solving and draws her inspiration from minimalism. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2017.
