A team of five Oklahoma State University business analytics master’s degree students recently won first place in the MS in Business Analytics and Data Science (MS BAnDS) program case competition at the Spears School of Business.
Oklahoma State University offers an AACSB-accredited Ph.D. in Business for Executives program that allows students to earn a doctorate in three years while continuing their full-time career.
All semester the students switched groups and cases to practice for the big competition. The students split into their final teams to compete against one another for a cash prize. Professors and alumni came together to watch and judge the students sending three teams to the finals. Each team had the same case over Tesla’s business plans.

Spears Business accounting alumna Jennifer Cripps was recognized as one of the Forty Under Forty 2021 Emerging Leaders by the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. As 2020 was the inaugural year for this award, Cripps is one of only 80 people ever to earn this honor.
