Watson Trading Floor

The Watson Trading Floor, established in 2001, got a new, state-of-the-art look when the Business Building opened in 2018. Finance classes meet in the classroom where students have access to Bloomberg terminals that provide opportunities to gain hands-on experience in financial and commodity trading systems, risk management and financial analysis.

Student Managed Investment Fund

The Student Managed Investment Fund allows students the opportunity to gain real-world experience managing a portfolio of financial assets. Through coursework, students apply financial theories and models learned in class to the real world.

Students in Spears Business have the opportunity to apply for a number of different scholarships. The same application is used to apply for most of these endowed or yearly scholarships.
