with a DBA
Set yourself apart with a DBA from the Spears School of Business. This intensive program is tailored to working professionals and designed to develop innovative, evidence-based leaders by applying research methods to create practical business solutions. You will acquire the skills necessary to solve strategic business problems and keep up with the fast-paced change occurring in industry today.

Spears is an AACSB-accredited and an R1 research institution offering guidance and mentorship from expert faculty to enhance your executive learning experience.

Curriculum & format

  • Program is offered in a hybrid format with recorded lectures, virtual class meetings and 2-day monthly residencies (9 per year) on our Stillwater campus.
  • 60-credit hours may be completed in just over 3 years (total of 10 semesters) while attending fall, spring and summer terms.
  • Nine hours of concentration electives are offered in a student’s area of interest.
  • Courses are taught by senior researchers and practitioner faculty from the Spears School of Business.
  • Doctoral dissertations are accomplished in the third year via independent study under the close supervision of a faculty research advisor.
