Student Center for the Public Trust (Student CPT)
What is Student CPT?
Student CPT (Center for the Public Trust) is an ethical leadership club, created through
NASBA (National Association of State Boards of Accountancy). With over 40 chapters
on college campuses nationwide, Student CPT provides an interactive environment where
ethical business behaviors and ideas can flourish, while creating opportunities for
students to network with the business community and develop professional leadership
skills. Our chapter at OSU was recently awarded the “Gold Star” distinction from NASBA
for going above and beyond chapter requirements. This organization also helps students
to build their resumes and communicate their ethical values to future employers.
Membership Information:
Student CPT does not have any specific membership requirements. Our chapter is open
to any student at OSU (regardless of GPA and major) that is interested in learning
from professionals about ethical business leadership and serving the community. Student
CPT hosts 2-3 chapter events each semester as well as one or two community service
events. We expect our members to attend the majority of the events that we sponsor
and demonstrate leadership by service to the community.
