The SAS® Analytics Day is an invitation only conference that brings national and regional speakers to share their expertise and knowledge to the Oklahoma business and analytics community. Since 2004 OSU and SAS®, a leading provider of business analytics software, have partnered to offer analytics and data mining programs.

I will share how the same interdisciplinary mindset is being used at SAS to build AI systems that augment human intelligence in a trustworthy way.

    Brian Griffin Brian Griffin, Paycom’s senior manager of data science and intelligence, has over 20 years of leadership experience, building winning teams across the spectrum of data science, business analytics, data engineering and software development.  Through his leadership, Grinnin has helped build data-oriented solutions that drive business value and provide significant improvements to products, services, and internal operations. Passionate about growing the next generation of data practitioners, Griffin serves on the OSU Master of Science in Business Analytics and Data Science Advisory Board and frequently participates in conferences and case study competitions held by universities across the region.  
    Ramacharan Kakarla Ramcharan Kakarla is a passionate data science and artificial intelligence advocate with 10+ years of experience. He is currently working as principal machine learning engineer at Altice USA. Prior to Altice he has lead AI solutions in JP Morgan Chase and Comcast. He has published multiple papers and posters including book “Applied Data Science Using Pyspark”.

    Mary Osborne Mary Osborne is a natural language processing and generative AI enthusiast who shares her passions for human language by managing the natural language processing portfolio at SAS and teaching computational linguistics at Duke University. With over 25 years of experience helping organizations adopt and gain value from analytics, she's excited to be involved in shaping the next generation of artificial intelligence.

    Beau Rollins Beau Rollins is a Data Science Advisor at Devon Energy. For 15 years, he has worked with technical teams and leadership to find innovative solutions to diverse business problems.  Beau has a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and Ethics from Mid-America Christian University and a Master of Science in Analytics from Texas A&M University.  
    Heath Satterfield Heath Satterfield is a seasoned technology leader with 25 years of experience. He currently holds the position of Chief Information Officer at Devon Energy, where he oversees the technology teams responsible for shared technology, data management/platforms, integrations, and all supporting business functions to Devon’s core E&P business. Prior to this role, Heath held several leadership positions at Devon, including in Technology, Supply Chain, Project Management, Continuous Improvement, and Operations. Before joining Devon, Heath worked as a consultant for public and private sector clients on information security. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from Oklahoma City University. Heath is also actively involved in the community, serving on the boards of Special Care, Inc and Goodwill of Central Oklahoma.
