Scholarships and Fellowships

Build support, build success

For some students, the challenge of completing the academic requirements to earn a degree is hard enough, but for others, the real challenge is paying for that degree.

Eighty percent of OSU students rely on some type of financial aid to fund their education. At the Spears School of Business, we want to help accomplished and motivated students realize their goal of becoming a college graduate, but we need your assistance.

How we can do it

Endowed Scholarships and Fellowships

By establishing endowed undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships for OSU business students, you are making an ongoing and important investment in the future. Follow our students after graduation and you will find them in positions of leadership in business, academic and not-for-profit settings. Ask our alumni who received scholarships and they will tell you how extremely grateful they were for gifts that enabled them to complete their education. In fact, many of them go on to fund scholarships themselves.

Annual Scholarships and Fellowships

Annual gifts supporting unrestricted scholarships are especially useful because they enable the Spears School flexibility to recruit and retain outstanding students. We hope you will consider making a difference in the lives of our students.

The Scholar Leader Program

This program is used to recruit outstanding students and provide funds for both scholarships and enrichment activities. The Scholar Leader Program is sponsored by corporate and individual endowments to the Spears School. Currently, ten high school seniors are selected to participate in this prestigious program.

Graduate Scholarship Endowment

These will be used to attract the best and brightest domestic and international graduate students to enroll into any one of the School’s six masters or doctoral programs. Scholarship will be used to boost the total stipend amount for a qualified graduate student to (1) compete with peer institutions in recruiting quality graduate students, and (2) demand a higher quality achievement in scholarship from the faculty and graduate students.
