Pete's Pet Posse
Sebastian is a young (but ginormous for his breed) Yorkshire Terrier who loves nothing more than your undivided attention and to be loved; all the while not realizing his own size…he’s just a big teddy bear. If you throw a tennis ball once for Sebastian, you’ve made a friend for life! He could play fetch for hours and can run at break neck speed. He will lay the ball directly at your feet so you don’t have to make that extra effort to reach for it.
Sebastian is not your usual “rescue” dog. His mom did not rescue him; he rescued her! Sebastian is a loyal and faithful friend with his constant presence, energy, and spirit for life. He knew exactly what his mom needed and it was the unconditional love of a lop-eared benevolent loving four-legged furry tail-wagging pooch that became her rock!
He is a momma’s boy and loves bringing his abundant energy to campus and meeting new visitors, students, faculty, and staff. He works with his mom, Shelby, in the Spears School of Business.
Sebastian has earned his Canine Good Citizen Certificate and is officially registered with Alliance of Therapy Dogs.
“And on the eighth day, God created the Bernese Mountain Dog. And on the ninth day, with the earth covered in hair, God said… ‘whoops!’”
Liam James Sherin is a Bernese Mountain Dog (and quite possibly the only one with a middle name). He is seven years old and loves long walks and rawhide bones. Even though he weighs 115 pounds, he thinks he is a small lap dog and can often be found sitting in his mom’s lap… for as long as he wants. He has two human sisters that weigh almost as much as he does, and he is very fond (and protective) of them.
Liam is originally from Wyoming, and was adopted by the Sherin family when they lived there (and he was just 8 weeks old!). Liam loves snow. In fact, we’re pretty sure he can smell it in the air before it begins to fall. He is a true gentle giant who loves to meet new people, especially students, and he is very talented in pawing your stress away.
Liam works with his dad, Jerimy, in the Spears School of Business.
Liam has earned his Canine Good Citizen Certificate and is officially registered with Alliance of Therapy Dogs.
Pippin is a country girl and she loves to chase the side-by-side and swim in the pond alongside the canoe. She also gives good hugs. She has one human sister, Angel, and one human brother, Tristan. She has two fur sisters, Cosette and Payton.
Pippin was thrown out of a moving vehicle on the gravel road in front of her family’s home. She made her way up their lane, sat on the mat at their front door and would not leave. She found her own forever family and she has been such a blessing to them. She has a heart of gold.
She works with her dad, Bill, in the School of Accounting in OSU’s Spears School of Business. Her family can't wait to share her love and gratefulness for life with everyone she meets through Pete’s Pet Posse!
Pippin has earned her Canine Good Citizen Certificate and will soon be officially registered with Alliance of Therapy Dogs.
