Military

Oklahoma State University and the Spears School of Business have a strong commitment to supporting our active-duty military personnel. Consequently, a military individual enrolled in a Spears School of Business’ Online Learning course(s) who can provide verification of active-duty status, works for the military full time, or has military orders is eligible for a tuition and fees waiver outlined on the Tuition, Fees, and Other Cost webpage.

In order for active-duty military personnel to receive a waiver to their Bursar account, the Michael and Anne Greenwood Center for Online Excellence must receive verification of active-duty military status or military orders before or within the current semester. Documents submitted containing proof of active duty status must provide service commitment dates eligible for the duration of the current semester. Verification must be submitted each semester. Military waivers will be applied to bursar accounts around the fourth week of the semester. Oklahoma State University tuition and fees are usually due by the fourth week of the semester.

Reservists who are not on active-duty status may be eligible for Tuition Assistance (TA) through their reserve unit. For more information on TA benefits, contact the OSU Bursar’s office at (405) 744-5993 or email bursar@okstate.edu. (Civilians employed with the U.S. military, veterans, and family members are not eligible for the active-duty military waiver applied by the business college.)
