Poe accepted into 2018 Culinary Enrichment and Innovation Program


Chef Tiffany Poe, Executive Chef and Clinical Instructor for the School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration has been accepted into the 2018 class of the Culinary Enrichment and Innovative Program (CEIP). The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) and Hormel Foods have developed and sponsor the CEIP, a program designed for culinary professionals.

The program offers advanced leadership training to commercial and non-commercial chefs and is limited to a class of 16. Over a 12-month period, the program is presented in three-day modules covering contemporary flavors and techniques, health and wellness, leadership and innovation. Upon completion, Chef Poe will be CIA certified and become a member of the Hormel Circle of Innovation.This elite network of chefs will establish an ongoing circle of learning and dialogue with the CIA, Hormel Foods and CEIP alumni.

“It is an honor to be selected to participate in this program,” said Poe. “After completing the program, I look forward to sharing the knowledge and experience with our hotel and restaurant administration students.”

As part of the College of Human Sciences at Oklahoma State University, the School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration’s focus is to provide a high quality academic foundation, a diverse experiential learning experience, active student organizations and signature events in order to prepare graduate to be innovative and inspiring leaders in hospitality.
