Although I am clinical faculty, I have research interests and enjoy collaboration with my tenured and tenure track peers. I am interested in hazards communications as it pertains to the hospitality industry. I am also interested in adapting hospitality information systems to a classroom setting by modifying software and creating workbooks and classroom exercises that give the students a knowledge base to assist their transition into managerial decision making. Additionally, I think a key component to the success of our students in industry is a solid foundation of technological knowledge, and I am interested in research in dealing with areas from data entry to data transfer to data storage, to virtualization and the cloud.
