Kim Booker, MBA (University of Texas-Arlington), is the director for the Center for Sales and Service Excellence and assistant professor of Professional Practice within the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University. Booker brings over 25 years of experience in direct sales, sales leadership, entrepreneurship and sales training to the program.
Booker’s early career in sales started in enterprise technology sales for AT&T in Texas. She had an opportunity to start her own insurance business as Nationwide Insurance was expanding its presence into the state. After 14 years of sales growth she sold the business and founded a new company, Sales and Management Results, a sales, leadership, and customer service training/consulting company affiliated with Sandler Training. In this role, Booker worked with individuals and companies in many industries to develop top sales and sales management professionals. Most recently Booker has been vice president of sales in the SaaS (software as a service) industry.
Booker has taught in many areas related to sales, management, and customer service and is the coauthor of “Selling to Homeowners the Sandler Way” published in 2015. Booker and her husband Scott are originally from Texas but are now proud Oklahomans; they have been OSU Cowboy fans for many years. They have 3 sons and enjoy golf and travel.
