The Center for Customer Interface Excellence brings together scholars from a variety of disciplines and topical areas. Our Affiliate Scholars come from a variety of backgrounds and represent universities from around the world. These diverse scholars are tied together by a shared interest in better understanding the interactions between an organization’s customers and its frontline employees. Affiliate Scholars have demonstrated their ability to examine important frontline marketing and management issues by publishing their research in top academic journals. These scholars are recognized for original research on topics that matter to managers. Our Affiliate Scholars also demonstrate their commitment to these issues by participating in community activities such as attending specialized conferences (sometimes sponsored by the Center for Customer Interface Excellence); planning and participating in special sessions at national conferences; and helping identify and annotate important theory and research articles for our ever-expanding bibliography of frontline marketing and management articles. Several of our Affiliate Scholars also offer a significant contribution by bridging to the world of management practice through their speaking, writing, and consulting endeavors.
