Conference on the Future Accounting Classroom
Due to conditions stemming from the COVID-19 outbreak and after much thought and very careful consideration, we have decided to cancel the Conference on the Future Accounting Classroom scheduled for July 31, 2020 in Stillwater, OK. Considering our collective responsibility and concern for the health of our participants, we have decided it would be most prudent to offer the event next year, in April 2021. We are very much looking forward to the opportunity to collaborate on the conference in 2021.

The future of the accounting profession has never been more exciting! But, as our profession becomes more technologically driven, more diverse, and more rapidly changing, keeping our classrooms up-to-speed can be a challenge. Make plans now to join the Oklahoma State University School of Accounting as we explore resources and ideas that can help us create classrooms that:
- Utilize cutting-edge technology that is free to educators and students
- Encourage diversity and inclusion
- Teach our students to adapt in a rapidly changing environment
We’ll hear from expert speakers and share ideas and best practices that are currently in use in classrooms all over Oklahoma and beyond.

DECISIONS TO AUTHORS:
Have something great you’re willing to share? We’ll soon be taking submissions for workshop, round table, and poster sessions. Haven’t done one of those before? Now’s your chance! This conference will offer a positive and encouraging environment inspired by the American Accounting Association’s Conference on Teaching and Learning in Accounting (CTLA) and TACTYC (Teachers of Accounting at Two Year Colleges annual meeting held each May). More information available here: www.aaahq.org/Meetings/2020/Annual-Meeting/Submissions/CTLA and www.tactyc.org.
