Escape the winter blues with an exciting week at the Walt Disney World® Resort in sunny Central Florida! This week long travel course will provide you with behind-the-scenes access to one of the United States’ most successful companies. We will work with Walt Disney Company professionals to take a closer look at the company’s leadership style, approach to teamwork, incorporation of creativity into the workplace, and unmatched customer service. We will explore the various aspects of business in which the Walt Disney Company operates and gain hands on experience through discussion with Walt Disney Company professionals in the accounting and finance field, meetings with OSU students completing internships on property, and have the chance to speak with a retired Executive VP of Operations with the Walt Disney World® Resort, Florida.

Courses:

ACCT 4930, 5840: Expanding accounting horizons in the U.S.: The Walt Disney Company (See pre-reqs below for ACCT)

BADM 4050, 5200: Expanding accounting horizons in the U.S.: The Walt Disney Company (No pre-reqs required for BADM)

Pre-Requisites:

Completion of ACCT 2103 and ACCT 2203
(Can Substitute ACCT 5183 and ACCT 5283)
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Completion of gateway exam

Fee:

$2,075 + AIRFARE

Program fee covers tuition, lodging, and transportation to all group activities and meetings. CAGLE will assist in organizing your air travel but it is your responsibility to purchase your own ticket. Airfare is estimated at $500. Program fee will be charged to your bursar account as shown in the Payment Schedule.

*Payment Schedule-Charges will hit your Bursar on the above dates, however, if you do not drop by October 1, 2017 you will be responsible for the full cost of the program. The charges are split up to help students make payments.

The student is responsible for the full amount of $2,075 beginning October 1, 2017.

This also applies to students who apply and are accepted after October 1, 2017.
