Alison Booth, a junior in the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, was recently presented with the first ever American Hotel & Lodging Association Legislative Action Summit Scholarship.
The LAS scholarship was presented to the Oklahoma State University junior by Patti Colley, chief strategy officer with the Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association. In addition to the $1,500 scholarship, Booth will be joining the Oklahoma delegation in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 10-11 for the American Hotel & Lodging Association Legislative Action Summit.
